Public Housing Program Meeting on May 13

The housing market is in a state of flux, and demand for affordable housing is high in the municipality of Moerdijk as well. How can we ensure that first-time homebuyers and seniors can find suitable housing? How can we properly house people with housing and care needs? Where is additional housing construction needed? How can we make smarter use of existing homes? How do we keep our communities vibrant, livable, and safe?

When can you join the discussion on these housing challenges?

On May 13, 2025, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., we will be hosting a meeting specifically for (representatives of) Moerdijk residents, where we will discuss these important housing challenges together. Your local knowledge and insights are indispensable to this process!

What can you expect during this evening?

The municipality has asked the consulting firm Companen to tell you a little more about what’s happening nationally and regionally in the area of housing. This also has implications for our municipality. We’ll be discussing this together.
We’ll also be holding discussions in small groups, where we’d like to hear from you about what this means for housing in your community.
