House Rules

We believe it is important that everyone feels welcome at City Hall. That is why we have established some house rules. We ask that you follow these rules. This will help ensure that City Hall remains a pleasant and safe place for you and our staff.

  • Please help yourself to some coffee or tea.
  • We are friendly and polite, and we expect the same from you.
  • We're happy to assist you with our full attention. If you receive a call during your appointment, please call back later.
  • We are committed to fostering a healthy society. Alcohol, drugs, and smoking have no place in it.

House Rules for Our Social Media Channels

Our social media channels should be a place where everyone feels safe and respected—both our residents and our employees. That is why we ask you to follow our community guidelines on our social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

  • Important: Do not send personal information via social media
    To protect your privacy, we ask that you do not send personal information (such as your address, social security number, phone number, or case number) via social media. We are not permitted to process or view this information through these channels. Please feel free to call us at 14 0168 for questions that require personal information.
  • We only respond to messages posted on our own social media channels:

  • Treat each other with respect
    Stay friendly and don’t make fun of anyone. Do not use hurtful, racist, offensive, or threatening language, or swear words. Do not incite hatred or violence.
  • No advertising or spam
    Do not post advertisements, spam, or inappropriate links. Such posts will be removed.
  • Stay on topic
    Respond to the topic of the post. Duplicate posts with similar content will be deleted.
  • Do not share private information
    Protect yourself and others. Do not share personal information in comments (such as names, addresses, or phone numbers).
  • Do not post inaccurate information or messages using an anonymous account
    . Verify that something is accurate before sharing it. Do not post falsehoods or misinformation. Do not post comments using an anonymous or fake account.
  • Offer constructive criticism
    Do you think something could be done differently or better? If so, please leave a constructive comment.
  • We may remove comments
    If you do not follow these rules, we may remove your comment. We reserve the right to moderate comments in accordance with these guidelines. In the event of repeated violations, we may block a user.
