Start-up Grant for Resident-Led Initiatives

You can apply for support to launch sustainable, promising community initiatives that contribute to a better living environment for residents of the municipality of Moerdijk.

Requests

The application must include the following information:

• A description of the activities for which the grant is being requested;
• The objectives and outcomes sought through those activities, and how the activities contribute to them;
• A budget and a funding plan to cover the costs of the activities.
• The information listed above should provide insight into the plans and budget covering a period of at least three years.

If you meet the requirements, you can submit an application for a community initiative. You can find the application form on the “Submit Your Community Initiative” page.

Terms and Conditions

• The grant must be applied for by a legal entity
• The initiative is a nonprofit organization
• The initiative is a collaboration between various (volunteer) organizations
• The initiative must be able to continue operating without municipal funding after a maximum of 2 years.
• The grant can be applied for at any time during a calendar year.

Grant Amount

• The subsidy cap is set annually by the city council
• The grant amount is equal to the amount requested, but never exceeds the grant cap.
• Once the grant cap is reached, the order in which applications are received by the municipality is binding.
