Initiative Grant for Volunteer Organizations
If you are organizing an activity for your city, town, or neighborhood and meet certain requirements, you may be eligible for a financial contribution from the municipality. Your initiative must bring people together and strengthen the bonds between them. You can submit your application online.
We would like to know:
- What the activity is
- What the budget looks like
- Quotes or invoices for eligible costs
After submitting your application, you can track its status online via My Moerdijk.
Terms and Conditions
A grant may be applied for:
- by (an authorized board member) of a legal entity
- if the activity is not for-profit
- if the activity is open to the public (though an admission fee may be charged)
- no later than 30 days after the event takes place
Grants are awarded only for eligible costs. These include costs for:
- rent equipment for the purpose of carrying out the activity
- rental of venue(s) for the purpose of carrying out the activity
- Thank-you gifts for the volunteers
- souvenirs, trophies, or medals
You will be reimbursed up to 50% of the eligible costs, up to a maximum of €3,000.
What do we ask in return?
When you apply for a grant, we enter into an agreement with you. You will receive a financial contribution, and we
- receive a report with a photo of the event
- be mentioned in communications related to the activity.
