Purchasing and Procurement

Each year, the municipality of Moerdijk procures a wide range of products, services, and construction projects: from large, one-of-a-kind projects such as the Zevenbergen town center plan and the purchase of office supplies to the hiring of staff. The municipality’s primary goal in this regard is to obtain high quality at the right price.

To this end, the Municipality of Moerdijk has a Procurement and Bidding Policy in place. The Municipality of Moerdijk has established General Terms and Conditions of Purchase for goods and services. For construction projects, the Municipality of Moerdijk follows the Uniform Administrative Conditions (UAV) or the Uniform Administrative Conditions for Integrated Contracts (UAV-GC).

Purchasing Policy

Complaints Policy and Complaint Form

To promote accessibility, the Moerdijk Municipal Executive has adopted a Complaints Procedure and established a Complaints Desk to handle complaints regarding procurement procedures. A complaint is a written report from an affected bidder or candidate in which they provide a reasoned explanation of why they disagree with (part of) the procurement process. Both will take effect on March 1, 2025.

National, public, and European

The municipality of Moerdijk publishes all of its national, public, and European tenders for services, supplies, and construction projects onthe Tenderned website. A tender is a formal procedure in which both the municipality and the parties submitting bids must adhere to certain rules. If you are interested in carrying out contracts for the municipality of Moerdijk, please check Tenderned regularly to see if there are any contracts that might interest you.

Search for a Tender

1. Go to theTenderned website.

Once you have registered on theTendernedwebsite, it offers you the option to automatically stay informed about contracts that may be of interest to you through an “alert service.”

Threshold Values

If the estimated value of a contract is equal to or greater than the European threshold, the municipality of Moerdijk is required to put it out to bid at the European level.

Effective January 1, 2026, new thresholds will apply to European public procurement. These new thresholds have been set for a period of two years and will remain in effect through December 31, 2027.
