The municipality plans to build housing on the site of the former De Cocon elementary school. In collaboration with Woonkwartier and in consultation with local residents, a plan has been drawn up for the construction of 23 social-housing senior apartments.

In collaboration with the Woonkwartier housing authority, we are currently working to secure the necessary zoning approvals for residential construction at this site. At the same time, we are preparing the requests for proposals so that we can proceed immediately once the amendment to the environmental plan becomes final. The school has since been demolished.
