Counting Votes and Determining Election Results

In Moerdijk, we conduct a centralized vote count. This means that on election night, after the polling places have closed, we have only tallied the number of votes each party received.

On Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., the municipal election board will determine the exact number of votes each candidate has received. This will take place at De Borgh, IJshof 1, Zevenbergen. Everyone is welcome to attend.

On Friday, October 31, all official reports and the digital results file were posted on this website. 

After that, anyone may file a report (opens in a new tab) with the central election board by 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, if there is a suspicion of an error in the count or the results. If such reports are received, the municipal election board will reconvene. This additional public session will be held on Wednesday, November 5, at 12:00 p.m. at City Hall. During this session, the reports will be investigated and the results will be re-determined. The final results will be certified by the Electoral Council on Friday, November 7.
