Project in Fijnaart

The Beukenlaan Bridge in Fijnaart will be replaced soon. The bridge is currently closed to traffic due to its condition.

What are we going to do?

The Beukenlaan Bridge is being replaced due to wood rot and an insufficient traffic rating. This means that the bridge currently does not have sufficient load-bearing capacity for traffic.
The existing wooden bridge will be removed and replaced with a new concrete bridge.

Planning

The work is scheduled to take place from mid-November through the end of December 2026. Before work begins, the contractor will provide nearby residents with more information about the exact schedule and how the work will be carried out.

How does this affect you?

During the construction work, the bridge will be closed to all traffic.

• You cannot use the bridge
• Traffic is being rerouted via Beukenlaan and Parallelweg. The detour is shown in the image below.
• The work zone and the detour will be marked on site.

We’re getting to work at the Gouden Regenhof. We’ll be performing maintenance on the roadway, sidewalks, parking spaces, and green spaces. Where necessary, we’ll also perform maintenance on the sewer system.

Planning

Work at the Regenhof will begin after the 2026 construction break, in week 39, if everything goes according to plan, and is expected to continue through week 50. The contractor will carry out the work in phases. While work is underway near your home, you will temporarily be unable to park your car in front of your house. We ask that you park your car a little further away during that time.

Your home will always remain accessible on foot via walkways during the construction work.

We are doing our best to minimize any inconvenience as much as possible and appreciate your understanding.

On behalf of the municipality of Moerdijk, contractor BAM is carrying out work on the Boerendijk. You can find more information on this page.

What are we going to do?

We are resurfacing the asphalt and, in some places, replacing the road’s subgrade. This will improve the quality and safety of the road. We are carrying out this work on the section of Boerendijk between the A59 overpass and Blaaksedijk. Below is an overview of the work zone, showing the three phases of the project.

We carry out the work in three phases:

• Phase 1: From the A59 overpass to Boerendijk 17.
• Phase 2a: From Boerendijk 17 through Boerendijk 30.
• Phase 2b: From Boerendijk 30 to the intersection with Blaaksedijk.

Planning

As indicated above, we are working in three phases. Please note: We will carry out Phase 2b at a later date. This is because a culvert needs to be installed on the Blaaksedijk. To avoid closing too many roads, we will not begin work on the Boerendijk until after that. This is expected to take place in the spring of 2027.

The schedule for these three phases is as follows:

• Phase 1: October 19, 2026, through October 27, 2026
• Phase 2a: October 28, 2026, through November 20, 2026
• Phase 2b: 2027

Expected Disruptions

The Boerendijk will be closed during the construction work. Traffic can take a detour by following the signs. We will do our best to keep homes, businesses, and agricultural properties accessible. If we do end up working near your driveway, the contractor, BAM, will contact you to coordinate this.

Pedestrians can always walk past the work zone. We also coordinate the work with emergency services.

Bus route 117 cannot travel along Boerendijk. The stops on this section are canceled. For up-to-date information and any alternate stops, please check the transit provider’s trip planner.

You must place your trash container outside by 7:00 a.m. on collection days. The contractor, BAM, will ensure that they are emptied and then returned to your home.
