Explanatory description
History
De afscheiding in Zevenbergen vond plaats in 1838, kort daarna werd een gereformeerde kerk gebouwd, deze Noordhavenkerk werd in 1841 in gebruik genomen. In het begin van de jaren ’80 van de 20ste eeuw is de kerk gerenoveerd en zijn er twee traveeen aangebouwd.

Architectural and art-historical features:
Exterior
Eenvoudige, rechthoekige zaalkerk opgebouwd uit baksteen (1841). Onder schilddak met betonpannen. Lijstgevel met omlijste ingang, bovenlicht en twee halfronde ramen. Opstaande kroonlijst met classicistische invloeden. In voorgevel dubbele paneeldeur met bovenlicht en classicistische omlijsting (gestileerde pilasters met kroonlijst). In de zijgevel lisenen, zeer gestileerde steunberen, en rondboogramen met vernieuwde indeling. Voorplein met muurtje. Gevelsteen met jaartal. In 1982 met twee traveeën verlengd.

Het object is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als kerk. Het is centraal gelegen aan de historische dorps-as, de voormalige haven. Het heeft architectuurhistorische waarde als zaalkerk met classicistische invloeden.
