Moerdijk Environmental Vision
What will the municipality of Moerdijk look like in 2040? How do we want to live then? Will the villages remain recognizable? How will we keep our municipality accessible? Will businesses be able to expand? Will sustainability play a more important role? The environmental vision provides answers to these kinds of questions.
It is a long-term vision in which we outline what we consider important in the environment where we live, work, and spend our free time. The environmental vision also sets out the frameworks and guiding principles for new initiatives and plans. Through an extensive process (exploration, setting a course, developing the environmental vision)—carried out in close consultation with residents, business owners, and relevant organizations, among others—the Moerdijk Municipality Environmental Vision 2040 was adopted on December 14, 2023.
