Glass

Glass can be recycled indefinitely. Glass recycling bins are located in central areas throughout the municipality of Moerdijk.

This refers to single-use glass containers, such as:

• jars of sauce, jam, mayonnaise, or vegetables
• bottles of wine, juice, oil, or vinegar
• spice jars
• small bottles of perfume or medicine
• jars of cream,
• makeup or deodorant
• drinking glasses

These days, you can throw the glass, along with any leftover food and the lid, into the glass recycling bin.

What shouldn't be put in the glass recycling bin?

• Crystal Glass (Vases)
• Heat-resistant glass, such as oven dishes
• Incandescent bulbs, energy-saving bulbs, LED bulbs, and fluorescent tubes
• Porcelain
• Flat glass (windows and mirrors)
• Earthenware (jenever) jugs
• Full medication packages

Where could this lead?

You can take your glass to the glass recycling bins located at central locations throughout the municipality of Moerdijk. You can return deposit bottles at the supermarket.

Please take any glass that cannot or should not be placed in the glass recycling bin to the recycling center.
