Recycling Center
The Moerdijk municipality's recycling center is located at Fuutweg 4, 4791 PB Klundert. Phone: (0168) 329 700.
- As of September 1, 2023, empty nitrous oxide cylinders must be dropped off at the recycling center.
- The recycling center is for waste materials (waste and raw materials) from private individuals. It is not for commercial waste.
- Please present a valid form of identification (note: the document must clearly show that it was issued by the municipality of Moerdijk), possibly along with proof of address (such as a piece of mail). This allows us to verify that you live in the municipality of Moerdijk.
- Please note: If you are dropping off trash on behalf of someone who needs assistance, but you do not live in the municipality of Moerdijk yourself, please contact the municipal waste collection site (14 0168) in advance. They will look into what options are available.
- You must submit asbestos along with a declaration of consent. For regulations and information, please see the “Asbestos Removal” page.
Please note: Carnival organizations in the municipality of Moerdijk can drop off carnival waste at the recycling center 3 weeks before Carnival and 1 week after Carnival. To do so, first pick up the “carnival waste declaration” at the municipal depot located at Parelhoenweg 1 in Klundert.
The recycling center refuses:
- Commercial waste.
- More than 0.5 cubic meters of construction and demolition waste per week.
- More than 50 kg of small chemical/hazardous waste per week.
- More than 2 m³ of waste per week.
- More than 1 cubic meter of soil per week.
- You can drop off car tires at the municipal depot at Parelhoenweg 1 in Klundert on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (Please note: this applies only to car tires.)

Hours of Operation and Crowd Levels
The recycling center is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays are busy days at the recycling center. Tuesdays and Thursdays are usually quieter.
Recycling Center to Close Early Due to Heat
During hot summer periods, the opening hours of the recycling center at Fuutweg 4 in Klundert may change temporarily. We therefore recommend that you check our news posts in advance for the most up-to-date opening hours.

- December 25 and 26 (Christmas)
- Open until noon on December 31 (New Year's Eve)
- January 1, 2027 (New Year's Day)
