Grant Application to Combat Educational Disadvantages

Organizations that can help prevent or address educational disadvantages among children in the municipality of Moerdijk can apply for a grant here.

Requests

This concerns an application for a grant to fund activities aimed at combating educational disadvantages. You apply for the grant on a calendar-year basis. The application must be received by the municipality no later than 13 weeks before the activities begin. A decision on the grant application will be made as soon as possible, but no later than 13 weeks after the application is received.

For the application, we require the following information, among other things:

  1. A description of the activity: its nature, scope, target audience, location, frequency, and duration.
  2. A written document demonstrating the approval of the schools, child care centers, and community partners in the Local Educational Agenda for the requested activity.
  3. A detailed budget

Accountability

When we award the grant, you will receive a provisional grant award. The grant will then be paid in advance and finalized retroactively. The decision notice outlines the obligations you must fulfill.

We expect a report within 5 weeks of the completion of the subsidized activities.

For reporting purposes, we request the following information:

  1. Report on the activity(ies): Describe how the activity proceeded and compare the targeted results with the actual results. Explain any differences.
  2. An overview of income and expenses.
