Certifying a Copy or Transcript

The municipality where you are registered can issue a certified copy of a document. By certifying the copy (applying a stamp and signature), the municipality confirms that the copy of the document is an exact replica of the original.

The person themselves or an authorized representative may submit this request.

Please bring:

• The original document;
• Your original identification document;
• In the case of a power of attorney: a written power of attorney, a valid form of identification for the attorney-in-fact, and a valid form of identification (or a copy thereof) for the principal;
• We ask that you pay by debit card.

Good to Know

• The municipality does not certify diplomas. To have your diploma or certificate certified, please contact the educational institution where you earned it;
• The municipality is never responsible for the content of the document.

• The fee for certifying a copy or transcript is €8.25
• We ask that you pay by debit card.
