Exemption from the Road Closure Order for Noordlangeweg

Noordlangeweg has been designated as a bicycle-friendly street. To make this road even safer for students riding bicycles to school, non-local traffic is being further restricted. For this reason, the section from Noordlangeweg No. 12 to the intersection with Oostmiddelweg is closed to all motorized traffic, with the exception of farm vehicles and mopeds and bicycles.

Residents and business owners on Noordlangeweg can apply for an exemption from this road closure. Emergency services, of course, are always permitted to use the road.

Notification Regarding Harvesting Activities

In other cases, the company (exemption holder) must report when—and, if possible, by whom—loading and unloading activities (including, but not limited to, harvesting activities) take place on its parcels. The vehicles used for this purpose are not required to carry a permit card.

General Exemption

The following companies have a general exemption to enter the closed section of Noordlangeweg:

Terms and Conditions

Resident of Noordlangeweg
Businesses with a parcel of land on (the closed section of) Noordlangeweg. This applies to businesses whose operations depend on the closed section of Noordlangeweg as an access or connecting road to (their) parcels of land and agricultural land on Noordlangeweg
A company with a lot on (a closed-off section of) Noordlangeweg for use by its own vehicles
A business with a lot on (a closed-off section of) Noordlangeweg for use by third-party vehicles that need to access their lots on a regular basis to perform various tasks
Taxi company. Taxis may only drive through the restricted area when transporting passengers (residents) to and from an address located on Noordlangeweg.
