Address Verification
Are there people registered at your address who no longer live there, or are you receiving mail intended for former residents? Does someone have a mailing address at your address, and are you no longer able to contact that person? If so, you can ask the municipality to launch an address investigation. The municipality will then determine where this person actually lives.
The municipality may also initiate its own address verification if there is any doubt regarding the address information of individuals listed in Moerdijk’s Basic Registration of Persons (BRP).
You can request an address verification using DigiD if you live at the address in question:
Do you not live at the address in question? If so, request an address verification using the button below. Please have your DigiD ready for this as well.
What should I do with the mail I receive?
It is a good idea to return mail to the sender. That way, the sender will know that the address information is no longer correct. Be sure to return mail from the municipality of Moerdijk as well. Returning mail helps with the address verification process.
