Adult Fund for Sports & Culture
Starting in February 2026, the municipality of Moerdijk will join the Adult Sports & Culture Fund for a trial period of nearly two years. If you are on a low income and would like to apply for membership in a sports club or cultural organization, you can register with the Adult Sports & Culture Fund. They may reimburse the cost of your membership if you are eligible. Swimming, soccer, field hockey, painting, music lessons, and visual arts are examples of activities you can participate in.

Frequently Asked Questions
There are two types of reimbursement: one for sports and one for culture. The amount reimbursed is:
- for sports, up to €300 per person per 12 months
- For cultural activities, the maximum amount is €450 per person per 12 months.
After 12 months, you can submit another application.
You can submit either a sports application or a cultural application—but not both. The funds are transferred directly to the provider, such as a sports club or cultural institution.
- The applicant must be 18 years of age or older
- The applicant must reside in the municipality of Moerdijk
- Participation in activities outside the city limits is permitted
If you do not use the entire maximum amount for membership fees or tuition, you may request equipment or supplies for the remaining amount—such as sports gear or materials. The remaining amount cannot be paid out.
Only an intermediary can submit an application. You cannot submit an application directly yourself.
