National Grant: ISDE

ISDE is a national grant for sustainability measures. You can apply for this grant if you insulate your home. You can do so even if you are already receiving the municipal grant.

If you want to make your home more sustainable, you can take advantage of the Investment Subsidy for Sustainable Energy and Energy Conservation, also known as ISDE. This is a national subsidy that you can apply for to cover, for example, a heat pump or solar water heater, as well as insulation work performed by a professional company. You may apply for an ISDE grant for multiple measures. You can combine the ISDE grant with the municipal grant, but you cannot receive more money than the work cost: in other words, you will never receive a grant that exceeds the cost of the work.

Terms and Conditions

Unlike the municipal subsidy—the “Laat het doen” voucher, which you apply for before the insulation work begins—you apply for the ISDE subsidy only after the work has been completed. The insulation must meet certain requirements, and it must be for your existing living space—so you will not receive an ISDE subsidy for insulating a new addition.
