All households in Klundert will receive a €750 energy-saving voucher funded by the proceeds from the wind turbines located between Klundert and the industrial park. They can use this voucher to make their homes more sustainable.
What can I use the energy-saving voucher for?
To determine what you can use your energy-savingvoucher for, it’s helpful to consult the list of measures (add link). This list includes various energy-saving measures such as insulation, installing solar panels, and replacing old household appliances.
It has been agreed with all parties that the funds are earmarked for making the neighborhood more sustainable. Of the expected proceeds, €750 has now been made available ahead of schedule, intended for making the homes more sustainable. The funds must therefore be spent on that.
On the Moerdijk municipality’s website, you can enter your address information (zip code and house number). You’ll then see exactly what you’re eligible for: vouchers, a leak check, and any other subsidies offered by the municipality.
The list of measures includes various energy-saving measures that residents can implement using the energy-saving voucher. The list is divided into three categories: Step 1: Understanding Your Home, Step 2: Small Adjustments, and Step 3: Major Measures. The list was compiled by a project group consisting of residents of Klundert and representatives from various stakeholders.
Yes, residents of Klundert are free to choose which measures they want to implement, as long as they are on the list. The different steps are included to indicate that the most logical approach is to first take the measures in Step 1, then Step 2, and finally Step 3. Everyone is free to choose which step they want to take. Items not on the list are not covered by the voucher.
Residents of Klundert can apply for a voucher through the Moerdijk municipality’s system. They can choose between “Have it done” and “Get a refund.”
With the “Have It Done” option, the resident requests a voucher, selects a regular provider, receives a quote, and the provider performs the work. The system pays the provider directly.
