Province of Brabant

The province of North Brabant wants to promote greening. To that end, the province has set up a crowdfunding platform. Subsidies are also available.

Do you have ideas for your neighborhood, village, or city? Would you like to create a community garden for the whole neighborhood, renovate a nature playground, or build a bee corridor, for example?The Brabanders voor Natuur websitecan help you set up a crowdfunding campaign. Project initiators are eligible for a grant from the province of North Brabant of up to €5,000 and up to 50% of the target amount.

Neighborhood Fund: Neighborhood Nature and Neighborhood Water

With this grant, the province aims to encourage the creation of water-related green spaces in neighborhoods. Examples include water storage, infiltration, or the creation of green spaces in areas currently covered with pavement. The joint installation of green roofs by at least three property owners is also eligible for the grant.

Self-employed individuals, foundations, and associations are eligible to apply for the grant. More information is available onthe province’s website. The current application period ends on November 4, 2024.
