The sharp curve in the road and the seawall give Zevenbergschen Hoek its name. It is a village center with a rich history. St. Bartholomew’s Church adds to the village’s charm. This church was built in 1948 after the previous one was damaged during World War II. After the North Sea Flood, the King of Norway donated wooden houses. A number of them, still in their original form, can be found on Olavstraat. You’ll also find beautiful buildings throughout the village.
Every year, you can attend the summer carnival in Zevenbergschen Hoek. This colorful, multi-day event fosters connection and a sense of community.
Zevenbergschen Hoek is a busy transportation hub: three railroad lines converge there, and the A16 highway also runs past the village.
