Maintenance work on the Moerdijk Bridge from July 21 through August 3

On behalf of Rijkswaterstaat, contractor KWS is performing maintenance work on the Moerdijk Bridge, which carries the A16 over the Hollands Diep. The work is taking place on the section of the roadway running from Moerdijk toward Dordrecht.

To ensure that maintenance can be carried out safely, the right lane and the emergency lane will be closed. The bridge will remain open to traffic during the work.

The work will begin on Tuesday, July 21, at 9:00 p.m. and will continue until Monday, August 3, at 5:00 a.m.

Possible traffic disruptions

Rijkswaterstaat expects that traffic disruptions may occur due to construction work on nearby highways and the closed lane on the Moerdijk Bridge. Road users should therefore allow for an additional 30 to 60 minutes of travel time.
