Future-Proof Gym Facilities in Zevenbergen

The municipality is building a new gym at De Regenboog Elementary School in Zevenbergen. The bidding process has now been completed, and De Nijs-Soffers Construction Company has been selected to carry out the construction. Work is expected to begin in mid-April.

Councilmember Bennie Blom explains:

“In the design of the new gym, we took sustainability into account, including by incorporating a green roof that helps reduce heat stress. We also paid close attention to accessibility, ensuring that the building is suitable for all user groups. The municipality will remain the owner of the gym. In the future, various elementary schools and organizations in Moerdijk will be able to use it.”

De Nijs-Soffers Construction Company expects to complete the construction by the end of this year. We congratulate De Nijs-Soffers on winning this contract.
