Construction Work on the Moerdijk Bridge, Papendrecht Bridge, and the New LPM Interchange

Rijkswaterstaat is working on the Moerdijk Bridge. From 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, through 5:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, Rijkswaterstaat will be conducting work on the Moerdijk Bridge on the A16 toward Rotterdam. To ensure these works can be carried out safely, one of the three lanes on the Moerdijk Bridge will be closed for two weeks on the stretch between the Klaverpolder interchange and the ’s-Gravendeel junction. In addition, the Papendrechtse Bridge (N3) will also be closed for an extended period. Starting July 17, the Papendrechtse Bridge (N3) will be closed to all road traffic for more than nine months. Rijkswaterstaat expects this to result in increased traffic on the A15 and A16.

New LPM Connection

There will also be brief construction work taking place around the new access road to Moerdijk Logistics Park (LPM). All of this may result in longer travel times, especially during rush hour.
