Roadwork on the N285 near Zevenbergen: Road Temporarily Closed
On behalf of the province of North Brabant, maintenance work is being carried out on the N285 near Zevenbergen. The work is being performed on the section between Zevenbergseweg and Oostrand and is intended to keep the road safe and improve the quality of the asphalt.
When will the work take place?
The work will be carried out over the weekend from Friday, May 29, at 8:00 p.m. to Monday, June 1, at 6:00 a.m.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the work cannot be completed, a backup weekend will be used: Friday, June 26, at 8:00 p.m. through Monday, June 29, at 6:00 a.m.
Road Closures and Detours
During the construction work, the N285 will be closed between Zevenbergseweg and Oostrand. Traffic will be rerouted via yellow detour signs:
- Traffic from Made toward Klundert/Roosendaal should follow detour“R”
- Traffic from Fijnaart and Dordrecht heading toward Zevenbergen should follow detour“E”

Please be aware of potential disruptions
To minimize disruption as much as possible, the work will be carried out in the evenings, at night, and on weekends. However, road users and nearby residents may still experience some inconvenience, such as longer travel times, reduced accessibility, and possible noise pollution.
The schedule is subject to weather conditions and may be adjusted if necessary.
