Commercial providers of energy efficiency measures

The municipality of Moerdijk has recently received reports from residents who have received phone calls or been approached at their doors by companies offering home batteries or other renewable energy solutions. These companies sometimes give the impression that they are working on behalf of the municipality or have been commissioned by it. That is not the case.

No municipal cooperation with home battery sellers

At this time, the municipality is not partnering with commercial entities that offer home batteries or energy solutions. The energy market is changing rapidly, and unfortunately, not all providers are equally reliable. This does not mean that there are no reliable providers, but the municipality is not currently working with them. Our advice: always do thorough research on a company before making any agreements.

Collaborations Initiated by the Municipality

At this time, the municipality of Moerdijk only partners with companies that participate in the insulation subsidy program. These companies have been vetted by Groene Groei, the agency that administers the subsidy program on behalf of the municipality. They meet all the required conditions, and clear agreements have been made regarding their working methods.
