Under the Open Government Act (Woo), the government is required to ensure maximum transparency in public administration. Proactive transparency means that the municipality itself, on its own initiative, makes information about policy and its implementation publicly available. This is fully in line with the goal of the Woo: to make government information more accessible, transparent, and easier to find.

The municipality of Moerdijk has a contact person for the Open Government Act (Woo). This contact person serves as the point of contact for questions regarding the availability of public information and the implementation and progress of the Woo, and can be reached via the municipality’s general phone number: 14 0168. You can also email general inquiries about the Open Government Act to woo@moerdijk.nl.
