Paper and Cardboard
Do you have a paper recycling bin? On collection day, please place it outside before 7 a.m. with the handle facing the street. The bin must be brought back inside on the same day after it has been emptied. If you have a bin, do not place any boxes next to it: everything must go inside the bin. You can also always take your paper and cardboard to the recycling center.
Residents of high-rise buildings can place their paper and cardboard on the street, either bundled with string or in cardboard boxes, in manageable packages weighing no more than 10 kilograms.

What can be put in the paper and cardboard bin (and what can't)?
Almost all paper and cardboard can be put in the paper recycling. But there are a few exceptions.
Regarding the document:
- clean, dry paper
- egg carton
- newspapers and flyers
- clean pizza box
- window envelope
Not included with the paper:
- wet and dirty paper
- used paper coffee cup
- pizza box with leftovers
- bread bag with plastic
- beverage cartons
- used paper towels
- bubble envelope

Reducing Paper Use
If you do not want to receive any advertising or unaddressed advertising and door-to-door newspapers, please request a “Yes-No” or “No-No” anti-advertising sticker. You can place the sticker on your mailbox. Request the sticker through the “No-Yes” and “No-No” Sticker webpage. This will help you avoid unnecessary paper waste.
Recycling Cycle
Recycling old paper and cardboard protects the environment and also reduces processing costs. The collected paper is turned into pulp, which is then used in paper production. In this way, old paper becomes a raw material for new paper. The paper can then be reused up to seven more times.
Tips
Remove the plastic wrap from advertising flyers before putting them in the paper recycling. Only then can the paper be properly sorted, processed, and recycled. Flatten boxes completely before putting them in the recycling bin; that way, more will fit.
