General Waste
General waste is all the waste that remains after separating recyclable or reusable waste, such as:
- hygiene products (such as used cotton balls, wet wipes, sanitary pads)
- pieces of rubber
- vacuum cleaner bags with contents
- unclassifiable waste
What isn't it?
- diapers and incontinence products
- bulky waste (you can have this picked up for free or take it to the recycling center)
Where could this lead?
That depends on your situation:
- Do you have a waste pass? If so, please dispose of your residual waste in a bag (or small bag) in the underground container in your neighborhood.
- Do you have a (green) bin with a gray lid for general waste? If so, you can dispose of your general waste in it. The general waste bin is emptied once every 4 weeks on the collection day listed in the Afvalservice Breda portal and in the Afvalservice app. On collection day, place the bin with the handle facing the street before 7:00 a.m.
