Anniversary Grant

To be eligible to apply for a grant, the organization must be an association or foundation and a volunteer-run organization (i.e., one that does not employ staff). An anniversary grant is awarded when an association or foundation celebrates its 25th anniversary or a multiple thereof. Carnival associations may be awarded an anniversary grant on the occasion of their 11th anniversary or a multiple thereof.

Requests

To apply for an anniversary grant, you can submit a request to the municipality, specifying the anniversary (e.g., 25th anniversary) and the volunteer organization’s IBAN account number. The amount of the anniversary grant is specified in the “Detailed Rules for Initiative Grants for Volunteer Organizations.”

Volunteer organizations that receive an annual base grant may also apply for this anniversary grant at the same time they apply for the base grant.

Terms and Conditions

• When: The application for an anniversary grant must be received by us no later than 3 months after the anniversary year in question. The application may be submitted to us by mail or email. There is no specific form for applying for the anniversary grant.
• Who: a volunteer organization (an association or foundation with no paid staff)
• What: The application must include a description of the anniversary (e.g., 25th anniversary) and the IBAN account number of the volunteer organization.
