I have a question about support/care

Do you have a question about support or care?

Read the frequently asked questions below

You are required to pay a copayment if you are 18 years of age or older and receive one or more of the following assistive devices or services from the municipality under the Social Support Act (Wmo)

  • Assistive Devices (excluding wheelchairs)
  • Home Modifications (including for young people under 18)
  • Mobility aid (such as a mobility scooter)
  • Household Assistance
  • Guidance

It doesn’t matter whether you receive care in kind or in the form of a personal care budget (pgb); in both cases, you pay a copayment. You may not use your personal care budget to pay the copayment.

The municipality works in partnership with Medipoint. If you have a problem with your medical device, please contactMedipoint.

You are responsible for submitting a renewal request for your current home support assessment when it expires. If you believe you are still eligible for home support after the grant period ends, please submit a new application eight weeks before the assessment expires. Please note that we do not grant retroactive extensions. The date on which you submit the extension request is therefore important. If you submit a request for an extension before the end of your eligibility period, it will be extended (if approved) immediately following the end of that period. If you submit a request for an extension after the eligibility period has ended, we will base the extension on the date of your application. This may result in a gap of one to several weeks during which you will not receive household assistance.

Your Wmo assistive device is intended for use in the Moerdijk region. You should not take your Wmo assistive device with you on vacation. Your Wmo assistive device will not be covered by insurance if you do so.

You can book a ride by calling 0800-0761000. For more information, visit theDeeltaxi West-Brabant website.

  • If you are taking a ride under the Wmo, you may bring along a travel companion (i.e., a social companion), who pays a reduced user fee.
  • If you have been determined to require a “mandatory attendant,” you must be accompanied by an attendant who can provide the support you need on every Wmo-part-taxi ride. The mandatory attendant is not required to pay a client fee.
