Here's how you can participate

Would you like to share your ideas on how Helwijk can become natural gas-free? On this page, you can find out how.

The municipality and Woonkwartier are organizing meetings for residents. We also sometimes seek your input in other ways. For example, a survey was sent out in February 2025. Residents were able to use it to share their wishes, concerns, and ideas. These responses will help guide the selection of a new heating system for Helwijk.

Here's how you can participate

• Please come to the next meeting (this one has already taken place; you will receive an invitation when the next meeting is scheduled)
• Sign up for the Helwijk focus group. You can sign up by sending an email to: energieloket@moerdijk.nl. We’re looking for residents who want to help brainstorm ways to reach out to their fellow residents, help organize meetings, and share their knowledge about the village and its residents. Before each brainstorming session, you’ll receive an agenda, and you can decide for yourself whether or not to attend that particular session.
