Energy-Saving Bar

All households in Klundert will receive a €750 energy-saving voucher funded by the revenue from the wind turbines located between Klundert and the industrial park. You can use this voucher to make your home more sustainable. This ensures that all households in Klundert—whether they own or rent their homes—benefit equally from the revenue generated by the wind turbines, as was originally intended.

Use of the Energy-Saving Coin

The energy-saving voucher can be used retroactively starting September 1, 2025. If you had a measure installed or carried it out yourself after that date, and it is on our list of measures and meets the requirements, you can claim the costs starting from that date.

The voucher is valid from September 1, 2025, through February 28, 2029.

Apply for the energy-saving voucher

Click on the credit, accept the terms and conditions, enter your personal information, and then request the voucher with a simple click of a button. You’ll receive the energy-saving voucher—which includes a unique code and the terms and conditions—directly in your inbox. With this voucher, you can hire a contractor or, if you’re doing the work yourself, submit the costs you’ve incurred. Use the button below to request the energy-saving voucher or check your credit balance.

List of Measures

The list of measures from which you can choose was compiled by the Klundert Residents’ New Energy Project Group, in collaboration with Energiek Moerdijk, Woonkwartier, and the municipality of Moerdijk, among others. We have carefully reviewed various possibilities to ensure that suitable options are available for all households. All of these measures help save energy and, as a result, reduce costs.

There is, however, a difference between rental and owner-occupied homes. Do you rent a home? If so, you’ll receive assistance from the housing authority and usually won’t need to undertake major insulation projects. Do you own your home? If so, it’s up to you to take action, and it’s often the larger energy-saving measures that are most worthwhile.

The list is organized in the following order: first, you’ll gain a better understanding of your home; next come the smaller measures; and finally, the larger steps aimed at saving energy.

Choose your energy-saving measures

Check out the list of energy-saving measures you can implement using the energy-saving voucher. Not sure which measure is best for your situation? Energiek Moerdijk can help you make a choice, for example by conducting a leak check or an energy scan.

Perform the work

You have two options:

Have it done by an affiliated supplier:

  • Request a quote from one of the selected suppliers
  • Have the supplier assess the work and, upon approval, carry it out
  • We pay the supplier directly

Do it yourself or have it done by an external vendor

  • Perform the work yourself or hire an outside vendor
  • Pay the costs yourself initially. Then request a refund using your energy savings bond.
  • Gather evidence such as invoices and photos of the situation before and after the work was completed

Submit proof (for work performed by yourself)

If you performed the work yourself or had it done by a non-affiliated supplier:

  • You log in to the system using your personal information.
  • You will automatically receive your energy-saving voucher, the accompanying terms and conditions, and a list of participating suppliers in digital format. You will receive this confirmation email from Groene Groei.
  • In the confirmation email from Groene Groei, you'll find a link to the expense report form. You must fill out this form in its entirety for your expense report to be processed.
  • Use the button to submit your expense report
  • You can redeem part of your energy savings voucher in up to two installments, until the balance is used up. A fee will be charged starting with the second submission. So save up your receipts and invoices and submit them all at once whenever possible.
  • Include all required supporting documentation with your application:
    • The invoice or receipts for your purchase
    • If applicable: photos of the purchased product or the service provided
  • Once your claim has been submitted correctly, you will be reimbursed within approximately 4 to 6 weeks via the bank account number you provided.
