Langeweg is one of the smallest villages in the municipality of Moerdijk. The village, which consists of ten streets, is surrounded by farmland used for crop farming and horticulture. Langeweg has a community center, an elementary school, a café, a café/restaurant, a sports facility that includes a soccer field, and a church. In addition, Langeweg has an active community life, with various sports and music clubs, youth and senior citizen groups, and a theater troupe. Every year, the Toeterfeest is held, where various brass bands provide musical entertainment by competing against one another.
