On collection day, place your container outside before 7:00 a.m., with the handle facing the street. Bring the container back inside the same day after it has been emptied. The time of collection may vary.

New trash container/damaged container
Is a bin broken? Or would you like a (free) additional organic waste or plastic bin? Request one through the Afvalservice Breda portal or the Afvalservice app. Place the bin in front of your home after the next scheduled pickup day. Leave the bin there until it is repaired or replaced.
New Waste Disposal Pass
Each household is issued one waste collection pass. If you have lost your pass, please report it via , the Afvalservice Breda portal, or the Afvalservice app. You will receive a new pass as soon as possible. Please note: the old pass will be deactivated once the new pass is sent to you.
The pass is tied to your residence. So if you move, the pass will remain at your old address.
Use your waste disposal pass for the underground container
Use your trash card to open the underground container for general waste in your neighborhood. Do not punch a hole in your trash card; otherwise, it will stop working.
How does the underground container work:
- Hold your card close to the window at the top of the underground container.
- The lid unlocks automatically > now open the underground container.
- Place your trash in the bin and make sure it doesn't get stuck. The underground container can hold bags of up to 60 liters.
- Close the lid > the trash bag will now fall into the container.

If you have lost your waste disposal card or if it no longer works, you can report this online at , through the Afvalservice Breda portal, orvia the Afvalservice app. A new card will be sent to you within two business days.
