Ukrainians – Traveling and/or Relocating

Do you live at the municipal shelter on Schansdijk in Zevenbergen and are you planning to leave temporarily? For example, to visit family, go on vacation, or for other personal reasons. If so, you must request permission in advance. This is a national policy designed to ensure that shelter spaces remain available for people who are actually staying at the shelter. 

The following rules apply: 

  • Will you be away for 2 nights or longer? If so, please ask the municipal staff at the location for permission in advance. 
  • You may leave the facility for 15 to 28 consecutive days no more than once per calendar year, subject to prior approval from the municipality’s facility staff. 
  • You may leave the facility for 14 consecutive days no more than twice per calendar year, subject to prior approval from the municipality’s facility staff. 

How do I request time off?

  • Pick up a leave form at the KaFra reception desk or from the municipal staff at Building 12. 
  • Please submit the completed form to the municipal staff at the location on Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday. 
  • The municipality will review the application and notify you whether it has been approved. 

Traveling from a private daycare center

Do you live in private foster care in someone’s home and receive a living allowance? And are you planning to be away temporarily? If so, please notify us as soon as possible by sending an emailto locatievluchtelingen@moerdijk.nl (opens in a new tab). If you live in private housing with a host family and do not receive a living allowance, you do not need to notify the municipality that you will be away temporarily. Always make sure to discuss your temporary absence with your host family. 

BRP Extract

Do you need proof of registration with the municipality of Moerdijk? For example, for work or travel. If so, request an international extractvia the Moerdijk municipality website (opens in a new tab). You’ll need to log in using your DigiD. The fees for a BRP extract are listed on the website. 

Moving

Are you moving to a different municipality? If so, be sure to notify your new municipality in a timely manner. You can do this within 4 weeks before the move and up to 5 days after the move. 

Are you moving to a country other than the Netherlands? If so, don’t forget to notify the municipality of Moerdijk of your emigration. You can do this by asking the municipal staff at any of the municipal offices for an emigration form and filling it out.
