An extract from the Basic Registry of Persons (BRP) is proof that you are registered in the municipality. It includes your name, address, city of residence, place of birth, and date of birth. For example, you’ll need an extract if you want to register for housing, transfer ownership of your car, or get married or divorced.

You will receive the statement by mail.
