Lost or Stolen Passport or ID Card

Lost or had your ID card stolen? Report the loss as soon as possible.
You can report this online using your DigiD. The document will then be invalid as of the moment you report the loss to us.

If your passport or ID card is lost or stolen, you must file a report of loss. There are two ways to do this:

Or make an appointment at city hall to get a new ID. You’ll fill out a lost ID report at the counter. Then you can apply for your new ID right away. You no longer need to file a police report.
