Waste Management App

With this new app, you can quickly and easily manage everything related to your trash. You can see right away when your trash will be picked up, easily request a trash container, and schedule a pickup for bulky items in just a few steps. Download the free app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. The Afvalservice app replaces the Afvalwijzer app for the municipality of Moerdijk.

Having trouble with the app?

Since the launch of the Afvalservice app, we have received reports of waste streams not being displayed correctly. Afvalservice Breda has since investigated and resolved this issue. If you still don’t see all waste streams displayed correctly in the app, please log out and then log back in. The app will then refresh the data. If the waste streams are still not displayed correctly afterward, please submit a report.

The (old) Afvalwijzer app will remain available until October 1. However, we recommend that you download the new Afvalservice app now. The Afvalwijzer app is no longer being updated, which means it may display incorrect information.

The Waste Service app is an improvement over the old Waste Guide app. It includes all the familiar features, such as the waste collection calendar. In addition, you can now manage your waste-related matters directly in the app, such as scheduling a pickup for bulky waste.

How does the app work?

Log in using your ZIP code and house number. You'll then automatically see the information for your address. You can easily customize the app to your preferences, such as whether you want to receive notifications.

  • Can also be used for all high-rise buildings (apartments and condominiums).

Turn on notifications if you want to receive reminders, such as to put your trash can out on time.

The new Waste Service app offers residents more features than the current Waste Guide app. In addition to viewing collection days and receiving reminders, residents will soon be able to handle various waste-related matters directly through the app, such as requesting a waste pass or a container replacement. This brings more services together in one place.
