Overview of Projects to Improve Energy Infrastructure
De energietransitie is in volle gang. Een belangrijk onderdeel hiervan is de aanpassing van de energiehoofdstructuur. Met energiehoofdstructuur bedoelen we niet de locaties waar energie wordt opgewekt, maar het netwerk van kabels en leidingen dat nodig is om de energie te vervoeren, zoals hoogspanningskabels en buisleidingen voor warmte, aardgas of waterstof. Ook conversielocaties die van nationaal belang zijn horen bij de energiehoofdstructuur, zoals een hoogspanningsstation of een converterstation waar gelijkstroom naar wisselstroom wordt omgezet.
Ook onze gemeente wordt hierdoor geraakt. Landelijk en regionaal spelen we een belangrijke rol. Door de ligging van onze gemeente, maar ook omdat het zeehaven- en industrieterrein verder moet verduurzamen.
