Tomorrow's Energy in Klundert

The Netherlands aims to have all homes natural gas-free by 2050. That is why municipalities and landlords throughout the Netherlands are already taking action. We are working with residents to explore how homes in a neighborhood—or an entire village—can be heated in a different way. This will allow us to live comfortably and pleasantly, both now and in the future.

In 2025, the municipality began a study in (the eastern part of) Klundert to determine how we can heat the town without natural gas. In addition, the municipality has also launched similar initiatives in Helwijk, Langeweg, Zevenbergschen Hoek, and Moerdijk-dorp.
