Plans for a Feasibility Study on New Power Plants at the Port of Moerdijk

Grid operators TenneT and Enexis plan to build new high- and medium-voltage substations in the vicinity of the Moerdijk port and industrial area. A single joint location is being sought for the substations. The Ministry of Climate and Green Growth (KGG) is coordinating this effort. From Friday, April 11, through Thursday, May 22, 2025, the draft Scope and Level of Detail Memorandum (draft NRD) will be available for public review. It outlines the plans for what will be investigated.
